I tried removing, then adding and removing: You had the spellID wrong, but I was able to find the correct ID's. That was the kind of thing I was looking for. Zae1, your suggestion for the player.removespell command what a good idea. The ring must be part of Skyrim, Dawnguard or Hearthfire, and I've done nothing having to do with Dawnguard or Hearthfire yet. None include a ring of night vision or ring of night eye, which is what started the problem. Steve40, I double checked all the mods I've loaded. Zae1 and Steve40, thank you trying to help.
